Oden is a Japanese one-pot dish where fish cakes, daikon, eggs, and tofu simmer slowly in a light, savory broth. This Kanto-style base is clean and deeply umami, with no heat at all — a mild, family-friendly hot pot. Each box holds two individually sealed packets, so you can cook one pot now and one later.

How to Use

1. Prep and wash about 1 lb (500 g) of ingredients.
2. Empty one packet (55 g) into your pot and add 3 to 4 cups (800–1,000 mL) of water.
3. Bring to a boil, add your ingredients, and simmer until tender.

Great With

Fish cakes, daikon radish, soft-boiled eggs, tofu, konjac, corn, mushrooms

Also use it for: kelp and tofu soup, udon noodle soup, or a clear-broth hot pot.
